Proudly made in Great Britain with British ingredients, Akela grain-free complete cold-pressed working dog food offers an alternative to traditional extruded kibble. The cold-pressed production technique presses together the mixed ingredients to form a pellet shape at low temperature (ours are pressed at between 42-47°c for a few seconds, others may be higher). Akela cold-pressed is one of the highest meat content foods of its type on the market. It is worth bearing in mind though that cold-pressed foods have to be made with dried/ground/meal/dehydrated meat that has already been rendered at high temperature. If you are looking for the most bio-available dry food around then why not try our new 80:20 Free-Range Chicken kibble which contains 80% freshly prepared chicken and NO MEAT MEAL instead! We use the latest Freshtrusion™ technology to gently steam-cooked the food at low temperature.
