New cold pressed chicken

Our 2 dogs tried the new cold pressed chicken food. Afterwards, both spent a long time licking their lips as if they had something stuck in their teeth. I tried them back on Salmon dry food and no problem. Is there something different with this food?

  Hi Julia, The texture is different between extruded and cold-pressed food due to the different production processes. The ingredients are also very different. Our extruded kibble contains around 30% more meat content and uses a high level of freshly prepared meat whereas we cannot use freshly prepared meat in our cold-pressed kibble so we have to use dehydrated.
