Dogs are considered an adult at one year old (two years old for giant breeds).
As there is no difference in the recipes used between the different sized kibbles for each variety of Akela, moving from Small Paws (puppy size) depends on the size of your puppy itself. The approximate kibble sizes and guidance weights are as follows:
Small Paws/puppy - 8mm wide x 4mm deep - (recommended for small breeds and puppies weighing ~0-10kg)
Medium Paws - 14mm wide x 5mm deep - (for medium breeds and puppies weighing ~10-25kg)
Big Paws - 18mm wide x 7mm deep - (for large breed adults and puppies around ~25kg+)
If you find your dog/puppy prefers a particular kibble size then it is fine to switch size. The estimates above are just a guide and should be adjusted for the individual dog/puppy by the owner. The feeding guidelines should be adapted depending on the type of food given to your dog (dry/wet/raw)
