Is Akela suitable for puppies?

Yes. Our current Akela recipes are suitable from weaning through to old age, apart from Suffolk Duck. You can choose a suitable recipe for your puppy without being limited to Chicken or Scottish Salmon.

Choose an appropriate kibble or pellet size for your puppy and check the current options on the product page. Scottish Salmon and Chicken Small Paws have been phased out, so please do not rely on older packaging or recommendations for those sizes.

Use our feeding guide and food calculator for the appropriate starting quantity, then monitor your puppy’s growth and body condition and adjust the amount as needed. Feeding amounts vary between recipes.
