Yes, the lids of the cans can be slightly raised or depressed depending on the recipe, pressure and temperature during cooking. Our wet foods are cooked inside the tin can and are not vacuum packed.We use gentle cold filling method, which means we fill the uncooked raw materials into the can, close the can and then the can is cooked to preserve the natural vitamins & minerals as much as possible. Other producers in first step cook the raw materials and fill it hot into the can so that a vacuum is inside and the lids are fixed.
As long as the can is still sealed, not punctured, and within the best before date then it is fine to feed.
