So what is wholeprey?
Wholeprey is the concept of feeding dogs as close a diet as possible to that which their wolf ancestors would have eaten. This includes, but is not limited to, meat, liver, cartilage, fat and edible bone.
You will find a complete list of ingredients on each product page. We know it can all be a bit confusing, so here is a breakdown of why we include what we do:
Information on our dry kibble:
Meat & Fish Ingredients & Sources:
The meat animals are raised for human consumption, then the cuts of meat that are desirable within the human food chain and commonly consumed by people are removed, and the remaining carcass and organ materials are what are used in our food - either in the form of meat meals or freshly prepared materials. These are nutritious and palatable materials that animals would naturally eat.
We source our ingredients locally wherever possible, currently our dry kibble ingredients are sourced from:
Chicken & Duck - UK sourced
Herring - Atlantic sourced
Turkey, White Fish, Trout & Tuna - EU sourced
Currently our wet food ingredients are sourced from:
Wild Boar - Sourced from the EU, Australia & South America
Deer - Sourced from the EU & Australia
Reindeer - Sourced from Finland, Norway & Sweden
Venison - Sourced from Finland & Norway
All our raw food meats are sourced from the UK
